Jim Leutenegger is a tax partner with more than 20 years of experience of providing tax consulting and compliance services to small and middle market businesses. Jim has extensive experience working in the technology, professional services, distribution and light manufacturing industries operating in all 50 states and with considerable inbound and outbound transactions worldwide.
Jim is actively involved and has participated in numerous buy-side and sell-side arrangements for a diverse range of industries including healthcare, distribution, technology, and professional services. He has provided transaction advisory services to private equity groups, as well strategic buyers, by performing tax due diligence in connection with mergers and acquisitions.
In addition, Jim provides wide spectrum tax consulting for corporate and pass-through entities throughout the business life cycle while focusing on his clients long term tax planning strategies. Jim has significant experience designing specialized succession and exit strategies and ongoing tax deferral strategies for his clients.
Jim has spent approximately ten years as a Partner at Westbrook, McGrath, Bridges, Orth and Bray which is an Ascent Group affiliate firm (WMBOB I Ascent) and 11 years working in large Atlanta based CPA firms.
