Jay Robbins, CPA, PFS, CFP®

Jay Robbins is a Partner in the Firm’s Tax and Consulting Divisions. Jay serves clients in several industries, but with an emphasis on healthcare, professional services, financial services, alternative investments, private equity and construction.  Jay specializes in overseeing complex financial structures such as domestic and offshore funds, master feeder and private equity funds, broker dealers and investment advisors.  He works extensively with private equity funds and private equity backed portfolio companies

Over his career, Jay has gained extensive experience in succession and exit planning including transaction advisory and due diligence for merger and acquisition engagements.  His time spent as a business owner, a CFO and providing Outsourced CFO services have provided invaluable insight into streamlining business operations and utilizing relevant real time data effectively.

Jay rounds out his practice providing tax and financial advice to high net worth individuals around the areas of estate and trust planning, philanthropic planning and succession planning.

He spent the first 13 years of his career with a large regional firm where he was a Member in the tax division.  During his tenure, he led several industry groups, led the local tax department and was a member of the firm’s other governing bodies.

Jay is on the board of directors for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta Dekalb County and a member of the advisory council of the Auburn University School of Accountancy. When Jay is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife Melissa, and their son, Will.  They can regularly be found cheering on the Auburn Tigers.
